09/28/2020 - Mural project in the Don Bosco School, Wiltingen. 2019-2020

The recent work that has been made since last autumn (2020) has been achieved with the financial support of the 'Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Kultur'. This project is continuing through 2021 and is promoting nature in and around the locality where Corin has his studio: the river Saar and the animals that live in the Saar valley. The studying of 'found' objects and stuffed specimens was important to the artists in the previous centuries, as well as the unnatural cramming in many birds and animals into paintings. This new series of paintings will have locally seen animals in the local landscape.
